Founded by Nicholas Ashe Bateman through the development of the micro budget film 'THE WANTING MARE' - MAERE STUDIOS has grown into a full service visual effects, design, and animation studio. Working on over 25 feature films in the past five years, MAERE has worked on projects such as Walt Disney's 'Hocus Pocus 2,' 'Peter Pan & Wendy,' A24's 'The Green Knight,' Ava DuVernay's 'Origin,' M. Night Shyamalan's 'Knock at the Cabin,' 'Servant' ‘Caddo Lake’ and the upcoming films 'Mother Mary' and 'Y2k' from A24. 

Most recently, MAERE STUDIOS has evolved into a complete animation studio, designing and producing the entirety of the upcoming 30-minute animated short 'An Almost Christmas Story,' produced by Alfonso Cuarón and David Lowery for Walt Disney Animation and Disney+.
